A thirty minute train ride from Amsterdam is the charming and cosy city of Utrecht. Walking the city you will be treated to tree-lined canals, architectural relics from a Medieval past and, at various points, the iconic Domtoren, a 14th-century bell tower, pops into frame. A work trip saw Julie able to enjoy the spoils of this beautiful city in the dappled and fading sun of late-autumn. Arguably one of the most magical times to explore a city, in early-November Utrecht’s cobbled stones are covered in leaves from branches boasting shades of amber, gold and ruby, which reflect the glowy autumn sun. As always, no trip - however fleeting - is left uncaptured on both digital and film cameras and here you can see a selection of Julie’s film shots.
